New cabins on Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort

All the cabins for the Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort paintball center is up. The cabins were said to be used as the center’s operational office and store. So far, the entire site’s set-up seems very professional, fitting for the venue of an exclusive club.

At the moment, work is on the way to put up lightings, electric sockets, fans etc. Most of the lighting for the roofing area is done. The internal wiring for the cabins are up next.

Perhaps this paintball site will be up and running very soon. Most of the permanent structures at the site have been built. Plans to fully furnish the place to make it operational are in the pipeline.

Staging area’s roofing almost complete!

Good news! The staging area roofing is coming up fast! In the last http://http://paintball-bukit-kiara.blogspot.com entry, work was in progress of erecting the roofing pole. The contractors have pushed through and the roofing should be completed in just a few days.

The roof is quite high above ground, giving it good ventilation. Furthermore, the roof will have two layers towards the top to help reduce trapped hot air.

With the staging area almost completed, the paintball center at Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort seems closer to opening its doors for paintball games. Soon to come are the center’s operational equipment.

Staging area at Paintball Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort completed.

Things are going pretty well at the new paintball field at Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort. Both fields have their nettings up. The work on building the staging area is also completed. The staging area will be the main gathering place for paintball players. The place it seems will be used for safety and game briefings, group discussions and of course chit chats. It is also to be used for small group events like birthday parties.

The staging area is rather large. The picture above shows the early stages of building it. The picture below is the same area upon completion.

Note the workers in the above picture. They are in the progress of erecting the staging area’s roofing structure. The roofing will provide ventilated shelter from rain and shine. There will be tables and chairs provided for players as well.

The first cabin has also been delivered (the right hand side of the above picture). The cabins will be the operational offices. All booking, payment etc for paintball at Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort can be done there.

The jungle field at paintball Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country

Oh yes! There will be a jungle field at Bukit Kiara. Jungle fields mean camouflage and almost real war like scenarios. The jungle fields would offer paintballers a different setting and experience always.



Initial look around has been done it seems. There are several spot on the club’s property that can potentially be turned into jungle paintball fields. Though none have been confirmed yet, safety and privacy for a paintball game is the main priority. Also, some parts of the jungle are already in use for nature walks and hiking trails. So, we’d probably want to stay away from those areas.




There are some great spots in the secondary forest on the property to be turned into a paintball field. The place may need some work to remove and minimize hazard but that is quite common with natural surroundings.

The Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort football field

Here are some pictures of the football field before works began to convert it into a paintball field. The area is big but sadly underutilized as a field. The idea of converting it into a paintball field caught on quickly as the field was suitable and it offers a new recreation activity in the club. Best thing is that while it is accessible to all club members, it is also open to the public.

The picture below was taken from the gate entrance to the field. Note the sandy patches are service tracks made by motorized vehicles. The whole field is fenced up and the area to the left of the picture will be where the waiting area is to be placed. The waiting area will be sheltered, with cabins as operations offices.

Works at Bukit Kiara paintball fields have begun!

The first thing to take shape at the paintball center at Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort is of course the paintball field itself. With a field that is bigger than a standard size football field, there was more than enough space for two separate paintball fields.


For each of the fields, they have decided to go with measurements 130feet by 230feet. That’s bigger than the standard paintball field. First things first, the fields have to be leveled. Not much of a problem since the overall area used to be a football field. Generally, it’s already quite level and definitely great for sliding!


Next came the poles for the nettings. The nettings are necessary to protect spectators and bystanders from straying bullets (pallets) of course. Also, looking from a bird’s eye view, the net gave the players an inside ‘contained’ area feeling…you can run but you can’t hide! The poles to hold the nets (huge GI pipes) are planted 3 feet in solid concrete. Above ground, it stands 23feet tall. That is more than enough for its purpose. Below are some pictures of work in progress erecting the net poles on the fields.

It took our construction team almost 2 weeks just to get the poles up. Once the concrete has set in, it will then be net patching and getting them hoisted up to the poles. The netting for the field are designed in a way that they can be lowered for maintenance or upgrading work in the future.

Soon to take shape are the nets.

Paintball at Bukit Kiara is coming up!

The place is Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort and the name of the game is Paintball! Yes! A couple of months back, rumors were going around about plans to turn one of the fields at this exclusive club into a paintball field. The rumor is turning out to be true after all.

The plan was to build two paintball fields, complete with the standard equipments of safety nettings, air bunkers etc. A few cabins will be placed there as well and a sheltered briefing / gathering space. The fields are in progress and other facilities on the way.
